That is, while most leds emit at a peak of 450nm, they use less energy than other light sources at around 450nm to achieve the same color temperature. Therefore, leds are less harmful to human health than other light sources.
It is too early to say how leds will affect human health, but their use in human health care should not be ignored, the report said.
